I. POLICY PURPOSE

This policy establishes the rules and requirements for the use of all World Academy trademarks and certification marks.

II. WORLD ACADEMY CERTIFICATIONS MARK OWNERSHIP

The following organizational trademark is owned and controlled by World Academy Certifications:

III. AUTHORIZED USE OF WORLD ACADEMY CERTIFICATIONS MARK

World Academy Certifications grants permission to use the World Academy Certifications mark to World Academy-certified organizations that have satisfied all applicable World Academy Certifications requirements. Each World Academy-certified organization is authorized to use only the certification mark which represents the appropriate certification. Each World Academy-certified organization may use the appropriate World Academy Certifications mark in professional and business materials such as business cards and email signatures.

Non-assignability and Non-transferability

Permission to use the certification mark is limited to the certified organization, and shall not be transferred to, assigned to, or otherwise used by any other organization or entity.

IV. WORLD ACADEMY CERTIFICATIONS MARK VIOLATION REPORTING

Following receipt of information that an inappropriate or unauthorized use of the certification mark may have occurred, World Academy Certifications will determine if responsive action(s) will be taken, including the following:

• 1. The alleged inappropriate or unauthorized mark use will be reviewed.
• 2. If a policy violation may have occurred, World Academy Certifications shall communicate to the organization(s) involved, requesting that they cease the unauthorized use.
• 3. If the policy violation is not corrected, appropriate legal actions or sanctions shall be taken, including certification suspension or revocation.
